October 2014

• 2nd Annual D.O Symposium hosted by CSUEB's Pre-SOMA Chapter: Hosted a conference to inform prospective medical students on the pros and cons of Osteopathic medicine. Schools that attended include: A.T. Still University, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Touro University California. Also hosted Gina Moses, representative from AACOMAS who explained the process of applying to Osteopathic schools. Dr. Brandon Boesch (attending physician in IM from Highland Hospital) also presented to explain how Osteopathic medicine benefitted him as a physician. Students from Touro University also demonstrated OMM techniques on other colleagues, a display of what they have learned in medical school.
